  • I Voted!

Yes, I voted as a Registered Republican in the state of Pennsylvania. Although, admittedly, I was rather put-out that our race is so much more boring than the Democrats'.  I mean, really, how revolutionary and exciting is voting for John McCain today? Exactly. This fall, it will be [hopefully] much more so, but today, I was almost bummed I hadn't switched parties just so I could take part in the fun and suspense of watching the results come in and seeing if the candidate I voted for was going to win.

Although, when I went to vote, I was rather surprised to see Huckabee and Paul still on the ballot. So I voted for Paul, because I just wanted to mix it up and do something different. And also because when the election results come in, I can proudly claim to be in that 1- or 2% of voters who went for Paul. And that is about as exciting as it gets around here on April 22.....

Oh, and I also saw that our excavating contractor's wife is running for some small office, so I voted for her too. Because they are good people, and I like them, and... that's about it. Yep. I told you. Pretty boring. :)
